IRS Memo Could Mean Big Tax Savings

On December 8, 2003 the Internal Revenue Service issued a memorandum that could be extremely beneficial taxwise to all restaurateurs. This new memo pertains to improvements and is an additional significant benefit. Please note that this memorandum should not be confused with Section 179, which still allows the immediate write-off of equipment and furniture up to $100,000 under most circumstances.
